Prayer Journal
Today I am starting a prayer journal. I got that idea from the book The Help. Writing my prayers will not only hold me accountable but make it a daily thing. Sometimes my words are not as strong as my writing. I have struggled with daily devotionals and spending time with God, but have been making more of an effort. Kind of a New Year's resolution!

Hannah's Hope
As many of my followers know I have miscarried twice, and have yet to get pregnant again. On Monday, Feb. 13, I will be having a test.
This is the second test that I have had in the last 2 years. The first was just a test to check all of my hormone levels. Hopefully they will find out why or why not I am not getting pregnant. I have found a book that I can sympathize with, It has helped me some. It is Hannah's Hope by Jennifer Saake. One of the things I got from it was that Davin and I are a FAMILY. Even though we do not have a child, we are a small family.
A hysterosalpingogram, or HSG is an important test of female fertility potential. The HSG test is a radiology procedure usually done in the radiology department of a hospital or outpatient radiology facility.
- Radiographic contrast (dye) is injected into the uterine cavity through the vagina and cervix
- The uterine cavity fills with dye and if the fallopian tubes are open, dye fills the tubes and spills into the abdominal cavity.

Mornings!
I am starting a new routine. When the dogs get up, I let them out then I go read a devotion. I let them in and then get ready. It's crazy how waking up five minutes earlier and spending that little time with God makes even the worst days a little easier.

Our new Traditions
Yesterday I came home in the mood to organize an clean! I organize two cupboards and cleaned up the kitchen. Then I thought it would be fun to sit at at our little breakfast table to eat supper and the after we were done then go watch TV. It was almost like having date night. We both agreed that if I am cooking we are eating at the table together! Then tonight we even did the dishes when we were finished! I feel so grown up!
